چکیده

Furry mammals kept as pets are important allergen sources. The prevalence of sensitization to dander from various animals appears be increasing worldwide. Several mammalian allergens diverse species and distinct protein families have been characterized, some available for component-resolved diagnostics (CRD). This review presents an overview aeroallergens, with a focus on cat, dog, horse allergens. potential CRD in fine-tuning the diagnostic workup following traditional methods based whole- extracts immunotherapy is discussed. highlights clinical utility CRD, particularly marker/predictor increased asthma risk disease severity. Finally, several perspectives future implications offered context furry animal Allergy cats dogs has recognized many years major factor development allergic rhinitis.1Konradsen J.R. Component resolved diagnostics for hymenoptera venom allergy

PURPOSE OF REVIEW Component-resolved diagnostics makes use of defined allergen molecules to analyse IgE-mediated sensitizations at a molecular level. Here, we review recent studies on the use of component-resolved diagnostics in the field of Hymenoptera venom allergy (HVA) and discuss its benefits and limitations. RECENT FINDINGS Component resolution in HVA has moved from single molecules to ...
